Are you in Colorado? Are you a senior, boomer, adult child, professional serving seniors? Pay attention ...

House Bill 1100 (Sales Tax Revenue to Older Coloradans Cash Fund), by Reps. Steve Lebsock and Kit Roupe’ and Sens. Larry Crowder and Jessie Ulibarri, is a bipartisan measure to increase the amount credited to the Older Coloradans Cash Fund by $4 million. The Older Coloradans Cash Fund provides for Meals—On—Wheels, Transportation  and other key programs helping people stay in their homes. Funding is currently in the Long Bill which is subject to possible reduction every year.
Tell all members of Appropriations this bill is important, and must be passed as currently drafted. HB 1100 will be heard in the house appropriations committee on Friday, April 10, 2015. Colorado Senior Lobby is hearing that HB 1100 will either be cut in half or killed.

For the benefit of Seniors in Colorado – DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN!
