It is interesting to see the different senior-oriented events in different cities. Seniors in September is on Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 10AM to 2PM in Denver, Colorado. The event is organized by Colorado Commission on Aging and features a Keynote Address by Denver City Mayor Michael B. Hancock along with a variety of senior resource fair. The event is called, "Shining a Light on Services for Older Adults in the Community." Also special about this event is that it is being held at The Denver Art Museum.

If it is September, it is time to Walk ... for Alzheimer's
When fall gets close is when we should start looking for a Walk to End Alzheimer's.
The Alzheimer's Association has an easy to use website where you can find walks across the U.S. Join a team or start a team but plan to walk this fall - their new tagline is, "The end of Alzheimer's starts with you."
