Donate to Alzheimer's Association with your 2013 Colorado Tax Return

Don't know if it is in all States but you can in Colorado ... Donate to the Alzheimer's Association with your 2013 tax return. If you are getting a refund for 2013 you can donate a dollar or more to the Alzheimer’s Association Fund on the Colorado State tax form. Here is a link to information on Colorado's "Tax Check off Colorado" program - Click Here

And did a little more digging and Colorado actually has a "CheckOff Colorado - A Simple Way to Give" program that works with Colorado State tax returns.

Checkoff Colorado is a statewide public awareness campaign that works to raise awareness about making charitable contributions. The program allows taxpayers to make voluntary contributions to their favorite charitable organizations when they file their state income tax return. Learn more at the program's website:
www.CheckOffColorado.com

(the website is slow to resolve - at least it is slow today!)

In any case - Way to go Colorado!

By the way other charitable groups are participating in the program besides the Alzheimer's Association. Review the list of participants on the group's website.

The Alzheimer's Association & Their 10 Warning Signs Presentation

Have to share that we had a tremendous presentation from the Alzheimer's Association at a networking meeting in Denver this week. The speaker Cecille Partee, a Family Services Coordinator at the Alzheimer's Association in Denver made an excellent presentation on the 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s Disease. If anyone either suspects Alzheimer’s Disease for themselves or a family member, contact the Alzheimer's Association to attend one of these events.
