One that caught our attention is the January 23, 2014 Caregiver Connections Fair of Castle Rock Hosted by Azura Memory Care. The Fair will feature community resources booths, refreshments, music and memorable engagements, while providing access to outstanding presentations and knowledgeable speakers. One very interesting speaker delivering the Keynote address at 12:00 pm is Dr. Huntington Potter, Professor of Neurology and Director of the Alzheimer’s Disease Programs in the Department of Neurology and the Linda Crnic Center for Down Syndrome at the University of Colorado. If you have not heard of their research, plan to attend this event. There is no cost to attend the Fair, but a ‘free will’ donation will be collected with all monies going to the Alzheimer’s Association and dementia research. Attendees who RSVP to Tammi at Azura Memory Care by calling 720-708-4475 by Tuesday, January 21st will receive a free gift. However, walk-ins are also welcome!
